Lots of food and more food. Grandma sure knows how to put a party on for herself.
Lots of help to blow out the candles. 1-2-3 BLOOOOOOOOW!!
Thumbs up for the cake.The kids just LOVE Grandma!

The rain sounded and smelt so wonderful.
I miss that sound of the rain pounding on the trees, it brings me back to my childhood for some reason. At least I can always go back to my childhood home to be reminded.

{Burrying our Swords}

Each Monday we have what is called Family Home Evening. It is a night for us to just be together, have a lesson on something spiritual or something that we feel our children need to learn about. Then we have an activity and a snack and usually by then it is bed time.

This past week we felt the need to make some "changes". Since the arrival of our newest addition to the family the kids have been acting out in a manor not pleasing to Mommy and Daddy. And to be fair Mommy and Daddy have not been acting in a manor pleasing to kidlets.

So there is a story in the Book of Mormon about how the Anti-Nephi-Lehies buried up their weapons of war and promised not use them again. Alma 24:12-21

{Father's Day 2009}

The CREW minus lil Eric since we was fast asleep.

Another Father's day to celebrate how great the Dad's are in my life.

I am blessed with an amazing Husband who is an amazing Father to our children. He plays with them, he teaches them, he loves them. He was raised by wonderful parents who taught him well.

I am blessed to have a Father who loves me and is always watching out for me. I am an only child and I think that has made the bond between me and my Dad even stronger. Plus we are ALOT alike. He loves his grandchildren and they adore him in return.

I am blessed by a wonderful Father in law. I wish there were not so many miles between us so we could share a tin of smoked oysters together.;-) He always knows how to put a smile on my face.

I am also blessed to have a Brother in law who is also an amazing Father to my niece and a wonderful Uncle to my kids. My kids love to jump on and play with Uncle Chris.

I have a Step Father as well who loves us and his grandchildren. He looks out for us and is always there to help when the need arises.

A little something for DAD....and for the rest of us.!!
The Certificate, the coupons and the tie.

Dad's Root Beer is our traditional drink on this special occasion.
Kabobs for Dinner, YUM!!
Uncle Chris Agrees!!

I think she loves this gift more than Daddy.
Grandpa (My Dad), Got into the Wii action. I think he got whipped by his Granddaughter.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!

{Engagement Photo?}

From the moment Lauryn was born Mr.E has been so sweet to her. He wants to hug her and talk to her and play with her. Angie and I joke about a "secretly" arranged marriage.
You just never know. tee hee.
At least we would like our child's in-laws.

I love this one. Playing her song!!

{Happy Birthday Kathy and Amberlee}

To celebrate these two wonderful gals birthdays we went out for some good eats and chatting at Boston Pizza.
Kathy and Amberlee celebrate Birthdays only a day apart. Such pretty ladies.
There were 6 of us this night. I think we really shocked our waiter when he learned that all together we have 23 kids. WOW! He understood why we needed a weeknight OUT!

Of course I could not show up without a little something.

Now that is EXACTLY what I want in MY flower pots. ;-)

Happy Birthday Ladies!!
