I was watching my niece Evelyn on the weekend before St. Patty's Day so we decide to have a PRE celebration by having Lucky Charms for Breakfast. A special Treat in our house. Something other than Cheerios or Mini Wheats.

{We saw an Angel}

The Vancouver LDS Temple is well underway with construction. Today was the day that the Angel Moroni took his place on the top. I decided that it was worth keeping my kids out of school for. Something they will remember for the rest of there lives. We braved the frigid temps and waited for 2 hours for the Statue to make it's trip to the top.

Beginning the Journey to the Top!!
I love this picture. It just says so much.

The kids were amazing and enjoyed the experience. Mr. E was very cold but after he had a warm up in a kind sister's car he was ready to watch the big event.
What a wonderful morning and a wonderful memory for my kids and I to have. The only thing that would have made it better would be to have had Daddy there, but someone has to work. ;-)

{It was a HAIRY day}

My darling lil guy HATES getting his hair cut. But... it was time. So my husband took him in for the dreaded cut cut. We have tried all the bribery tools to get him to sit in the chair. When it comes down to it, he wants nothing to do with it. So he sits on Daddy's lap while Daddy gives him a very loving bear hug. You do what you have to to get the job done.

BEFORE

AFTER - Still crying when he got home.
Thinking maybe it is time to relax.
He cleans up good!!
