The day after Thanksgiving we went to Grandma and Grandpa Turcott's campsite on the Vedder for Turkey Soup. It was Rainy and a lil cold but the kids had fun playing in the river and watching all the fishermen and fisherwomen.
When we arrived at the campsite Cayden ran up to Grandma and said "Guess What Grandma, Mommy has a baby in her tummy" We had just told the kids that morning. Cayden was very excited to tell SOMEONE.
The annual Cranberry Festival in Ft. Langley is a must in our family. It is so much fun to see all the Harvest Goodies. We can not forget all the yummy Cranberry Treats. There are games for kids and booths for the parents to spend money on stuff they probably don't really need. lol
This year was BEAUTIFUL, which ended up bringing the crowds in record numbers. I think I prefer a lil drizzle just so there is not as many people. The kids had fun and we look forward to next year.
PS. FT Langley is the second largest producer of Cranberries in the World.
Another year and another successful Terry Fox Run. We managed to catch the made for TV movie of Terry Fox a few nights before the run and C was captivated. Asking lots of questions, she was determined to have a good run and that she did. 9 laps around the field with very little walking. Oh to have the energy of a 6 yr old again. lol Way to go girls, you did GREAT.
The Young Women's Conferance this year was very impressive. I was able to help the girls with this craft this year. My dear talented friend Kristle came up with the project and did all the prep for 200 girls. Let me tell you that is ALOT of work. Hats off to Kristle she is awesome. The projects were very cute and the girls had loads of fun making them. I even got to take this Beauty home with me.
I am a stay at home mom to 4. I have loved the addition of Shelf Reliance to my monthly Grocery Budget. The food is easy to cook with, nutritious and saves me lots of time when preparing for meals. I know you will be happy with it too.
