{Wall Words}

i am sooooo happy with how this turned out. My great friend Kristle has started a vinyl lettering business. SO MUCH FUN. I have been wanting to do our name and EST. 1999 for a long time so it was nice to be able to sit down with someone and get it just right. I LOVE VINYL. You can do so many wonderful projects with it. Can't wait to play some more.

She is just starting to get this up and running and once things get a bit more organized i will link her to my site. If you would like more info about vinyl lettering and would like to get in touch with Kristle just send me your email and I will forward it to her.

(Happy Birthday Abbi}

This is the winter princess party. Abbi was so cute on her special day. I am kicking myself cause it did not take a picture of the OH SO CUTE craft that angie had the kids do. So, I will describe it to you.

She took pointy ice cream cones and turned them upside down and used icing to stick them down. Then, the kids covered them in Green Icing and decorated them with different sprinkles so they looked like little Christmas trees. The kids loved making them and eating them later when we got home.

{Happy Birthday Little Man}

Happy Birthday to my little man. I can hardly believe that he is ONE already. It has been a fast year and I have done my best to enjoy every moment.

So as tradition goes on your birthday you get your favorite breakfast. He just happens to be Chocolate Chip Pancakes. I think he just really likes to DIG out the chocolate Chips, but hey whatever it is HIS birthday.

Later in the evening it was time to celebrate with Family and Friends. The theme was Curious George, fitting for my curious little man.

The cake was "plate licking" worthy according to the Birthday Boy. Thanks to Grandma Turcott for pulling off another great cake. If you would like instructions for this cake they can be found on Martha Stewart.

We had "George's Orange Cream Punch" mmmmmmm that was YUMMY.

Orange Cream Punch

4 cups of vanilla ice cream
1 can of orange Juice Concentrate
1 2L bottle of lemon lime soda

Blend the ice cream and concentrate in a blender until well mixed. I just did this with a spoon, but whatever works for you.

Then in a punch bowl mix with the soda. Place some orange slices for decoration.

We had fun with good appys and the kids played "FEED George" i stamped little pictures of banana's and taped them around the room, then they had to find them and put them on the poster of George's face. They had lots of fun doing that.

Another 1st birthday done. Now to plan the girls parties coming up.

{Good-Bye Red Couch}

SNIFF SNIFF. I finally said good bye to this favorite. We have had it for about 5 yrs but the fabric was splitting. We purchased a used set of furniture about 6 months ago off of Craigs List, and it fits our needs. This Red couch was just not enough for our growing family.

We tried to find a home for it but no one needed a couch.;-( So, I kept the pillows and the rest was off to the DUMP. Sean even did a little sniff seeing it going into the trash compactor. But, on the brighter side of things we now have more space again and the set that I got for only $100 is FABULOUS.

Now I don't want ANYONE TELLING ME THAT THEY WOULD HAVE TAKEN IT. That will just sting. lol

{Winter Princess}

I love making cards so when a friend asked me to make some for her daughters Winter Princess Party, I was up for the challenge.

I had so much fun making this. Although, I really looked like a glittery snow princess after making 10 of these sparkly invites.

FYI I had to cover up the phone and email for privacy.

{Candy Candy Candy}

Ok seriously, we are now OVERLOADED with candy. I thought I would post some suggestions on how to get rid of the candy FAST.

As I was driving home from Cubs tonight they gave a couple tips on the radio. So, I thought I would share those with you.

1. Take those oh so yummy peanut butter cups, put them in a bowl and microwave them until they are melted. Then take the yummmy peanut butter and chocolate mixture and pour over vanilla Ice cream. MMMMM can you say DELICIOUS.

2. Take the smarties or Skittles or whatever you have an abundance of and put them in a food processor. Grind them up into little pieces and add them to your Cookie Dough. A nice addition to your cookies. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMm

Those were the 2 best suggestions on the Radio.

Also, while I was watching Martha Stewart today she had a great idea. Go Figure lol. Take the wrappers from all those yummy treats and use them to Decopage (sp.?). She used them on Light Switch Plates. But I think you could do that to almost anything. Boxes, Tins, Picture Frames. What a fun project for kids. I think I might try this. ;-)

So there you have it. A few good ideas of what to do with ALL THOSE TREATS that you are now stalked up on.

{Tricks and a Whole lot of TREATS}

Cayden brought treats for her class. They had halloween Crayons, activity book and Witches Warts Candy. MMMMMM.

Grandma dressed up as a Muskateer. She made the costume might I add. What a COOL Grandma.

We had a WONDERFUL evening going door to door and the kids were sooo cute and had a blast.
