{Girl Time}

Another great Temple Trip with the girls. We left Friday night and stayed over in Bellevue so that we were refreshed in the morning. HA HA, well as refreshed as we can be after staying up until 1:30am.

MANDATORY that you have travelling treats.

Angie sacrificed for us so we could get through the boarder faster. Way to go Ang, way to step up to the porta potty. tee hee.

The Grove outside the Temple, it looked so beautiful with the fall leaves.

The gals, what a great bunch of ladies.

It was a great uplifting time. These ladies inspire me so much and I am so grateful to be able to consider them my friends. We had some great chats, hence the reason we were up until 1:30. Out of the 6 of us 3 were pregnant. Congrats to the newest Preggers once again. ;-) NO NO NO it is NOT me.

I am looking forward to our next trip in 6 months.

{Happy Birthday MOM}

This year I was not sure what to get my mom but after some thought I came up with the idea. I made her a set of all occasion cards, which she was thrilled to recieve. Second, I bought this cute frame and printed of some pictures of the Grandkids for her. I then found the quote to put in the frame. My mom LOVES having pictures of family up in her home so it was the perfect gift for her 56th birthday.

{Glitter pumpkins}

Me and the kids made glitter pumpkins last week. It was a fun project to do with the kids and makes a nice decoration. I got the idea from Martha Stewart. OF course.

All you need is some small pumpkins, Glue, glitter and a foam brush.
Brush the glue over the entire pumpkin.
Mix the desired colours of glitter and sprinkle all over the pumpkin and then let dry.

There are many variations you could do with this cute project.

{Friends at the Patch}

Tuesday was an AMAZING day. 21 degrees Celsius. WOW. It was so warm that we could take the coats OFF. The sun was shining so what better way to spend a warm fall day but to go to the pumpkin patch. So off we went. We met up with our bestest friends and had loads of fun. We petted the animals, had some snacks, went on a hay ride, picked out pumpkins and topped the day off with Ice Cream. Oh, and we got some GREAT pics along the way. Check them out.

{Gr. 1 Fieldtrip}

Pumpkin Patch time. I was able to tag along and help Miss C's class. I even got to ride a school bus, have not done that for a LONG time.

We had fun learning about Pumpkins, a hay ride to the pumpkin patch, picking a pumpkin, petting the animals and playing on the SLIPPERY boat.

I think Miss C's favorite part was me riding the bus with her. lol. I love how she loves doing things with me, I hope that never changes but know it will not always be the case. I sure love this girl.

{A rocking good time}

just over a week ago for family night we had some friends over to finish a project we started in August. We had gone to our Temple site and collected rocks. The plan was to bring them home to make our own little temples. Well, we finally got together to make them. We had our Glue, Rocks and tiles. We got them about 1/2 done and we are finishing them now on our own. Ours is almost complete and once it is done I will post a picture.

The kids had fun finding rocks and even more fun helping to build our little temple replicas.

We finished the night with Hot Chocolate and Welsh Cakes, mmmmmm love Welsh cakes.

Runs for 5 days + 103 Fever for 2 days + Lathargic + redness in Ears + sleepy = A trip to the Hospital

Last week my little guy was not doing so good. I took him to the clinic and he was slumped in my arms wanting only to sleep. The Dr decide to play it safe and sent us to Emergency. 6 hrs later we finally saw the ER doctor, and then 3 hrs later my babe was coming home. They ran blood and Urine tests and they all came back fine. So it has passed now and he is 100% better. Scary though. First time I have ever taken one of my children to the Emergency and I hope I never have to again.

{Witches Brooms}

Saw this oh so cute idea from Martha Stewart in her Magazine. So I decided to have my cub scouts makes these for Canadian Thanksgiving. They were super easy and oh so cute. What a nice way to give someone a treat. I also made these to give to the Ladies that I Visit Teach each month. They thought they were great. It is not too late you could still make these for Halloween.

The funny part of the story is that my girls LOVED these and wanted one but the ones I made were all accounted for. So, I promised them that we would make some together. Yesterday, since it was a Holiday, we were able to watch Martha Stewart's Show. My girls were glued to the show soaking it all in. tee hee. All of a sudden I hear "MOMMY MOMMY MOMMY she is making your thing!!" Ha Ha that is right ladies Martha gets her ideas from ME!! The girls were just amazed that she was making the same thing that there mommy had made. So sweet. Martha was showing how to make these brooms, mummies and pumpkins using paper bags. It was a great episode with some very cute ideas for those trick of treaters.

{Can I get an AWWWWWWW?}

My little guy has grown up so fast. Almost 11 months old already and he is just the sweetest little man. Beautiful Smile, Big Blue eyes and the kid has got GREAT hair.

What more can I say!!!

{Jared's Day}

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JARED. Friday night was Jared night. We started with great food at Boston Pizza and then took the party to Castle Fun park with NO KIDS. We had a blast, I even managed to convinced some to take on Dance Dance Revolution. YAAAA BABY!!

That's my girl, she knows how to indulge!!!
I am the long lost sister can't you tell!!

{Meet the Teacher}

We had meet the Teacher Night last Thursday. Miss. C could hardly wait to show off her classroom and where she sits everyday. She walked us around the room and showed us all the things that she does and learns during the day.

She has a great teacher who just so happened taught her PALS last year. PALS is a once a month Parent Child class to help kids get ready for reading etc. Anyway, it was nice for Miss C to get a teacher that she is familiar with.

I think the long days are a bit of an adjustment for C but she does not complain...much. She just tells me that she misses me. So I sent a picture of our family to school with her and I think it is helping.

Oh Course Little Miss C had to get into the action of going to school and try out one of the desks. Cheesy Girl!!

The all pink picture is hers. ;-)
