Envelope Bag

Ok this is way cute. I got the idea from another blogger, Stamp On. She posted a picture of one that she had received and I had to make one pronto. Gotta love ribbon, it just adds that extra touch. You can not fit much in this little bag but it makes a great Thinking of you gift, don't ya think?

Recent Creations

Here are some of my attempts for the swap card. I tried a few before I found one that would work. When you are making 50 of one card you have to take into account a few things.

1. Do you have enough paper.
2. How much detail. Time is and issue when making 50.
3. Would you show it off to customers.
4. All CURRENT SU! products.

There are more but it is late and I need to get to bed. lol

SWAPPING TIME

It is time for another Stampin' Up! Regional Training Session. It should be lots of fun. I love going to these events for demonstrators. They get you sooooo pumped about the products, like that takes very much.

So last night I made 50 card fronts for swapping. For those of you that don't know. At SU! events ladies bring samples to swap with other demos so that we can have a supply of examples to share with our customers. It is a frezy, let me tell ya ladies. It is like Boxing Day morning in the shoe department at 8:am when the doors open. It is crazy but a lot of fun.

So here is my swap for the event. Not exactly what I had planned on but with my limited time this week this is what I came up with.

Crayon Fun

This is a great activity to do with your kids. We have so many broken crayons and I was going to start tossing them out, when I came across this idea on a website. (Can't remember which one there were a bunch that had it)

Take your broken crayons, peel off the paper, break them up, put them in a mini muffin tin. Put in the oven at about 250 for about 10 minutes I think? Watch them to see when they are all melted. Take them out, let them sit for a couple minutes then I put them in the freezer to solidify for a few minutes.

Voila, they pop out super easy and the kids had so much fun colouring with them. Yes that is a muffin in her other hand. lol

Dollar Store Finds

You sure can find great things in dollar stores. They are just full of treasures.

I found these pens a couple weeks ago. I think they will be perfect to go along with little notebooks. The caps even come off so you could put a piece of stamped paper inside.

Have you found anything fun at the Dollar Store lately?

Stampin on Walls

WOW, this is soooo easy!! I have been meaning to do this for 2 1/2 years and now I FINALLY did it.

My girls, who share a room...LOVE IT. They think I am amazing as they should.

It is so easy... REALLY. I used Bold Butterflies from Stampin' Up!.

Step 1: Sponge the acrylic paint on the butterfly, just a light coating of paint will do.

Step 2: Stamp directly on the wall and lift straight off. You need to keep your hands steady. I gave mine a very slight wiggle and then pulled the stamp off.

Step 3: Wash stamps with a damp cloth. You don't want the paint to dry on the rubber as it will be much harder to get off.

And, that is all there is to it. I then took the outine stamp for the butterfly and used paints that would match my girls curtains and used the same process as above.

I just love how it turned out.

My 1st Contest Entry

Ok so here is my FIRST contest entry. Cross your fingers that I WIN. The contest was to use circles. When opened it is a gift certificate holder. I used 2 small open ended SU! envelopes.

Easter Baskets a Plenty

It is that time again for me to make treats for my daughters class. I only remembered at 10:30 tonight that they had to be made for tomorrow as Friday is a Holiday. AHHHHHH. So I am burning the midnight oil on this one.

Cayden always gets so much joy handing out the treats to her classmates. I get so much joy as I see the kids running out of class saying "MOM MOM look what Cayden gave me!!"

Every Kid needs a little chocolate for Easter. I love these baskets, I have made them before and they are so cute.
